Terry Keith Tolar

Terry Keith Tolar, 64, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully at his home on September 4, 2015. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Sudie Tolar, and his son's mother, Debbie Bowers Tolar. He is survived by his wife, Beth Absher Tolar; a son, Keith Hall Tolar and his companion, Chelsea Carroll; and two granddaughters, Mollie Grace Tolar and Mia Reese Thompson, all of Elizabethtown; and one brother and his wife, Danny and Donna Tolar of Asheville. Terry Tolar was a retired decorated officer with the NC Highway Patrol. He continued his service to Bladen County through Bladen Community College as a security officer and as trustee of Clarkton United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Saturday, September 5 from 6 to 8 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be held at Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church on Sunday, September 6 at 2 pm officiated by Rev. Shannon Owens Ross and Rev. Darryl Copeland.
