Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes - RavennaTerry L. Wain, Sr. 79 of Ravenna, passed away on Sunday November 30, 2025 at his daughter's house in Zanesville, Ohio. He was born September 22, 1946 in Johnstown, PA to the late Orville G. and Edna E. (Hannigan) Wain. Terry has lived in Ravenna since 1966 and had worked at Container Corporation, then worked at Parker Hannifin Corporation as a machine operator for 27 years before retiring in 2009. He was a veteran of the US Army and enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting deer, fishing, going to the beach, jet skiing at the lake and interacting with his canine companions Prince and Bailey. Terry was a very avid fan of Ohio State Football. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Edward Wain, Richard Wain and Ruth Maggs. Survivors include his wife Sally A. (Greig) Wain whom he married December 25, 1991, his children Robert (Cindy) Wain, Matthew (Diana) Wain, Terry L. (Patricia) Wain, Jr., Holly (Charles Mohler) Hendershot, Meagan (Johnathan) Day, his grandchildren Justin (Tori) Wain, Nick (Keara) Miller, Alex (Kayli) Wain, Tyler Hendershot, Emmett Day and great grandson Justin Wain, Jr. Graveside services with military honors will be 11:00 AM Saturday December 6, 2025 at Custer Cemetery Hooversville, PA. Following the services a celebration of life service will be held at Anthony's Restaurant 725 Scalp Ave. Johnstown, PA 15904. The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the venmo account, soccor97 to help the family.
