Terry Glenn Wells, 70, of
Osage Beach, MO passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
Terry was born on March 9, 1955, in
Washington, MO, the son of Windal and Arlys (Girardier) Wells. He was united in marriage on March 12, 1982, in
St James, MO to Terri Davis. He was a 1973 graduate from St. James High School. He owned and operated Unique Auto Body in St. James for 15 years. In 1992, Terry and Terri moved to
Osage Beach, MO where he worked as a Claims Adjuster for State Farm for 25 years before retiring in 2017.
Terry was a was a man of deep faith whose life was guided by his love for God and family. He faithfully attended The Church at Osage Hills. A devoted family man, he found his greatest joy in time spent with his children and grandchildren, whether cheering them on at all their activities and sporting events, sharing stories, or simply being present. He had a true craftsman's spirit and took great pride in woodworking, creating pieces that reflected both his skill and care for others. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, watching sports, bowling, and playing cornhole, always appreciating friendly competition and good company. Terry was an active member of the Elks Lodge #2517 in Osage Beach; he valued fellowship and service to his community. His kindness, steady faith, and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Terry is survived by his wife, Terri Wells of the home; mother, Arlys Krawiecki; two sons, Terry D Wells (Erin Frisbee) of
St James, MO and Andy Wells (Kierra Elliott) of Rocky Mount, MO; one daughter, Heather Wells (Sherri) of Mound City, KS; three brothers, Lonny Wells (Cathy), Gordy Wells (Annette) and Rick Krawiecki (Jan) and five grandchildren, Bailey, Journey, Jack, Brennen and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his father, Windal Wells; stepfather, Sam Krawiecki; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Trixie Davis and his grandparents.
Friends will be received from 10:00 am to Noon on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home in Osage Beach. Memorial service will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Crisman officiating.
