Terry Wilson Obituary
Terry J. Wilson, 70, of Akron passed away peacefully at home on Friday November 21, 2025 with is family by his side. He was born June 27, 1955 in Columbus, Indiana to the late James and Laverne (nee Byrd) Wilson. He was a resident of Columbus, Indiana until his family re-located to Akron, Ohio in 1996.
Terry loved to fish, playing the ESO role playing video game, chatting with is online friends and Mt. Dew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Paula (nee Brown) Wilson; sister, Theresa and brother, Steve. He is survived by his son, Daniel (Brittany) Wilson; daughter, Christy (Scott) Weisner; brother, Chris (Laurel) Wilson; grandchildren, Tyler Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Jaion Gordon, Geonie Gordon, Kayla Ratliff, Jamiah Jackson, Jermani Jackson, Lennix Wilson and Gio Wilson; great granddaughter, Xolani King.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. - 12 Noon Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, 3855 25th St. Columbus, Indiana 47203. Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon at the Funeral Home. Entombment will be held 1 p.m. at Garland Brook Cemetery.
