Tex Burton Hebrock
Tex Burton Hebrock, son of the late Fay Calvin Hebrock and Betty Jean (England) Hebrock was born on May 23, 1946 in Philippi, West Virginia and departed his life on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Southeast Health Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 76 years.
He was a self-employed Plumber for many years, Veteran of the United States Army receiving a Purple Heart in active duty, and a resident of Scott City, Missouri.
On October 19, 1991 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Proffer in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Mrs. Hebrock survivors of the home in Scott City.
Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters, Gloria Goodman and Carrie Andrews both of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Jeannie (Russell) Arnold of Doniphan, Missouri; one step-sister, Patty Eiland of Orlando, Florida; by three sisters-in-law, Wanda (Frank) Garland of Sedgewickville, Missouri, Lisa (Ebert) Bowen of Burfordville, Missouri and Tonya Hebrock of Scott City; one brother-in-law, Jimmy (Glenda) Proffer of Chester, Illinois; by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Calvin West; three brothers, Clyde Calvin Hebrock, Billy Fay Hebrock, and Kenneth Lee Hebrock; by two sisters, Jo Ann Wilkerson and Mary Williams; also, by one granddaughter and one grandson.
Graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
