Mr. Williams was survived by his two sons, Tex J. Williams of Rock Hill, SC, Stanley L. Williams and his wife, Kathleen Shields-Williams, of Rock Hill, SC; son-in-law, Sidney Welch; Sheryle Williams; two grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Sue Ellington and Donna Renee Bowman, and brother Richard Thurmond Williams and seventeen nieces and nephews.
Mr. Williams was a Site Manager at BHI Energy at Catawba Nuclear Plant where he retired after many years of work and service.
Mr. Williams always loved music and was a part of a gospel group, The Representatives. He was an avid lover of softball, Clemson Football, and raising and riding horses. He was a strong and quiet man, and loved his family dearly.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, starting at 1 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732, with a funeral ceremony following at 2:00 PM. The burial after the service at Grandview Memorial Park Hollis Lakes, 401 Hollis Lakes Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made in Tex Junior Williams's name to Rock Hill Post Acute Care, 159 Sedgewood Dr, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Condolences can be made at greenefuneralhome.net.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to Tex´s, family, and friends.
Tex was a big quiet man with an even bigger heart. I am proud to have called him a dear friend. I will miss your Tex, smiling face and treasures memories. R.I.P.

Tex was my manager at BHI energy. Tex was a great man he had many stories of when he was growing up. He did love you all so much. God blessed me with a great friend when he came into my life. It was a real joy to know him. He helped me take out the garbage one day and when the goose came after us.... I left him running around the trash dumpster. He was hollering run hurry get away. I stood in the door watching him run around and around and around the dumpster. Till they both the goose and tex got tired and gave up. He was one of a kind .im for sorry for your loss. Heaven gained a real good man.
