I'm heartbroken to hear Mr. Flenniken has passed on...
I will never forget listening to free-form jazz in his drawing classes and amazed at his ability to teach those who came in with no abilities to by the end of the class knowing how to draw. He was a unique and beautiful gift to this world. Mr. Flenniken was definitely an inspiring and influential person in my life, and I know in many others as well. His spirit and abilities live on in all of his former students. My love goes out to you Ms. Donna, as well as your family.

I always looked forward to seeing him in or out of class. He definitely was a treasure and had something interesting to say about our older group's art or just to entertain us. I learned many things from him or his insights on his art.
Prayers & peace to his family.
