Thaddeus "Ted". August 3, 2025. Dutiful husband of the late Mary Welsh Marakowski (Mackey). Proud and loving father of Michele Keating (Sean), Ted Marakowski Jr., and Laura Przystawski (Brian), and stepfather of John "Jack" Welsh (Carol), Michael Welsh (Kristine), and Thomas Welsh. Dear grandfather to Alexandra Nicolai (James), Jacquelyn "Jax" Nemitz (Shawn Hale), Colleen Keating, Katryn Keating, Michael John Welsh, and Jacqueline Birdsall (Daniel). Great grandfather to Noa Mae Birdsall. Beloved brother of Alice Girardi (and the late John) and Michael Marakowski (Jean). Son to the late Michael and Helen Marakowski (Dymicki). Ted was also loved by his nieces and nephews, as well as his close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his VISITATION on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 9:30 AM to 11 AM at St. Monica Church, 17th and Ritner Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19145. Followed by Ted's Funeral Mass at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, P.O. Box 5014 Hagerstown, MD 21741 or The American Brain Foundation, www.americanbrainfoundation.org/?form=Donate.

Frank and I are so sorry to hear about Cousin Ted's passing. He was a wonderful man and will be much missed. During this sad time, our thoughts are with his children, grandchildren and all who loved him.
