Than Lam Obituary

Than was born on November 24, 1957 to the late Lich and Giap Lam in Vietnam. He was a refugee of Vietnam, coming to America in 1980 as part of the Vietnamese boat people. Than loved spending time with his family. As a man of many interests, he enjoyed caring for his koi pond, traveling, staying active with hiking, judo, karate and evening strolls with his wife, and music, specifically Michael Jackson's "Thriller". Than was also very dedicated to his work as Professor of Engineering Management for Defense Acquisition University. He will be missed deeply by his loved ones.
Than is survived by his loving wife, Hue (nee Tu); his children, Nicole Quynh (Dan), Melissa Hien, Jonathan Luc, and Kevin Kiet; his siblings, Kiem Lam and Loc Lam; many extended nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues.
Relatives and friends are invited to Than's viewing on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 6PM – 8PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Another viewing will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 9:30AM-10:30AM at Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.

His passion for learning and "Just Do It", "Seize the day" spirit and "the sky is the limit" attitude. He was a great co worker and mentor at Lockheed. Always great conversations in the break area and positive attitude.
