With tremendous love we share a glimpse into the life of Thanh Le, a devoted husband, loving father, and beloved grandfather.
Le, demonstrated his relentless willpower and vitality with his tenacious battle to live, for more than two months! Despite his constant fight and the encompassing support of all our family and friends, Le left us forever on February 23, 2024. He finished his magnificent yet peaceful life, rugged yet glorious! A giant ship filled with an abundance of joys finally anchored in its harbor forever!
In October 1981, Le and his wife, Im, fled to the United States from war-torn countries and began their arduous journey to live the American dream. The two started from scratch, made great sacrifices and efforts, and created a brilliant family business together. It is the family business that serves as the heart of the kindred, and his progeny thrives to continue the legacy it is today.
Le was intelligent, open-minded, humorous, and imaginative. To those that may have had the opportunity to meet him, he was a mentor and a friend. His witty words were poetic, sometimes humorous, but always full of wisdom. He reminded us to look at life carefully yet graciously. When in the pursuit of our dreams he encouraged us to broaden our horizons, defy boundaries, be innovate, and have the courage to climb.
Having a sentiment to travel the world and a perennial passion for adventure, Le has climbed the Great Wall of China, hiked the Volcanoes of Hawaii, swam in the healing waters of Iceland’s Blue Lagoon, and stood on the grounds once occupied by the Mayans of Mexico’s Chichen Itza. He loved the beauty in this world deeply, and he loved his family much more. Whenever the two intertwined, his heart was full.
With infinite nostalgia, Le departed the world he loved so much, leaving behind his wife Im, daughter Muy, son Kevin, son-in-law Benjamin, daughter-in-law Yaling and four beautiful grandchildren Benson, Preston, Emersyn and Elfia.
Each minute of the day we miss him, but we know he continues to protect and guide us as we continue to hold him in our hearts forever.
