Thelma Loretta Cheek, 72, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2024.
Born August 10, 1952, in Beckley, she was the daughter of Peggy Knight and the late Cledith Reeves.
Thelma enjoyed sewing when her children were young. She always enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Cheek.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy Knight of Merriville, IN; daughters, Peggy Gauldin (Charlie) of Englewood, OH, Loretta Morris (Don) of Mt. Hope, WV; son, Robert F. Cheek, II (Trisha) of Cool Ridge, WV; grandchildren, Chastity, Travis, Robert, Matthew, Breanna, Jeremy, Dreaden, Holly; great grandchildren, Colton, Lukas, Lincoln, Layleigh, Eva; brother, Ron Reeves (Paula) of IN; sisters, Chevoyn Snell, Deana Janiak, Terri Knight all of IN.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2024, in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
To honor Thelma the family asks everyone to wear her favorite colors purple or pink.
