Thelma Gladden Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2026 in the Deerlick Baptist Church of Waynesville, MO. Burial will follow in the Idumea Cemetery of Laquey, MO. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2026 in the Deerlick Baptist Church of Waynesville, MO.
Mrs. Gladden is survived by four children: Leo Gladden (Susie) of St. Robert, MO, Linda Chadwell (Larry) of Waynesville, MO, Calvin Gladden (Marcia) of Waynesville, MO, and Kenny Gladden (Vanita) of St. Robert, MO; seven grandchildren: Amanda Davis (Jason) of Crocker, MO, Shauna Upperman (Alex) of Prairie Village, KS, Chrystal Curtis (Tim) of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, Earlene Rich (Aaron) of Marshfield, MO, Laura Smith (Travis) of Belle, MO, Steven Gladden of Waynesville, MO, and Danielle Hopwood (Brian) of Cedar Hill, MO; twelve great-grandchildren: Klayton, Jake, Katie, Truett, August, Percy, Sarah, Eva, Lily, Winston, Frank & Gideon; one great-great grandchild: Kennedy; three sisters: Loretta (Crossland) Nuttle (George) of Ridgedale, WA, Sue (Crossland) Bowman of St. Robert, MO, and Donna (Crossland) Roberts of Waynesville, MO; one sister-in-law: Betty Crossland of Camdenton, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lorene Gladden to the Missouri Baptist Children's Home and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
