Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Louise Weeks Tullos of New Albany were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Don Chandler officiating the services. Burial followed in Winona Garden of Memory. Pallbearers were Trey Leggett, Landon Sims, Harvey Guntharp, Johnny Serio, Don Hutchinson and Harold King. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Burnetti, Jason Jordan, Rick Robbins and her special friend and neighbor, Clara Cobb.

Visitation was held Tuesday, October 7, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 8, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.

Mrs. Tullos, 90, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was born in Louise, MS to Jessie and Leila Barnes Weeks on August 24, 1935. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in New Albany, MS where she was a faithful member of the Mary Foley Sunday School Class. Prior to retiring, she worked for J.A. Olson and Irvin Industries.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Tullos Leggett (Ed) of New Albany and Linda Tullos Serio of Greenwood; sisters, Dixie King of Vaiden and Inez Whittington of Greenville, TX; brother, Barney Weeks; three grandchildren: Brittney Serio Sims (Landon) of Greenwood, Haley Leggett Guntharp (Harvey) of New Albany and Edwin L. "Trey" Leggett, III of New Albany; five great-grandchildren: Grayden Guntharp, Colton Guntharp, and Kipton Guntharp, all of New Albany, and Stetson Sims and Kattie Ames Sims, both of Greenwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Anderson "Grady" Tullos; son, Walter Anderson Tullos, Jr.; sister, Helen Taylor; brother, J.L. Upton and son-in-law, Jimmy Serio.
