Thelma Medley Obituary
Thelma was the glue that held her family together. She was selfless and would do anything for anyone. She had the biggest heart for others. Thelma also was spunky, ornery, and so much fun! She loved gardening, bargain shopping, mowing, puzzles, and beating her grandkids at SkipBo.
Thelma served in ministry with her husband, Bill, for most of their married life. Faith was very important to her. She exemplified Christ-like living every day to everyone she met. Thelma didn't know a stranger and would help anyone who asked.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; children, Doug, Fern, Dan; and daughters-in-law, Stephanie and Tracy.
She is survived by children, Rhonda (Steve) Haddix of Delphos, OH, Todd of Centennial, CO, Deanna (Jim) Parks, of Canton, OH; daughter-in-Law, Rose Medley of North Canton, OH; son-in-law, Dan Forsythe of Scot Depot, W.VA; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Len) Boesger, and Bonnie Hendricks.
Thelma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend. She thanked God every day for her best friend, Connie. She will be missed by everyone.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11am at Reed Funeral Home NORTH CANTON Chapel (801 Pittsburg Ave. NW, North Canton, OH 44720) with Rev. Steve Haddix officiating. Calling hours will be Friday, May 26, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Saturday from 10am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Thelma's name to Refuge of Hope and Canaan Acres Camp Grounds.
