Thelma Mohr Obituary
Thelma Mohr, 96, of Zanesville, passed away at 1:24 P.M. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Altercare of Zanesville. She was born September 3, 1929, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Henry and Velma (Vaughn) Madinger Sr.
She is survived one brother, Henry (Sharon) Madinger Jr. of Nashport, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and a great niece and nephew.
In addition to her parents Thelma is preceded in death by her loving soulmate of 66 years, Donald Mohr who passed away on November 9, 2018; a sister, Shirley Hoover; and one niece, Doreen Baker.
Per Thelma’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A private family service will be held. Thelma will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Donald at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Thelma’s name to the American Cancer Society at PO Box 6704 Hagerstown MD 21741 or The American Heart Association at PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
