Thelma “Nan” Wright, 85, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on June 22, 1939 in Newcomb, TN to Lloyd and Florence (Main) Waller.
Thelma married JB Wright on April 27, 1956 in Jellico, TN and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2003. She was a homemaker where she enjoyed reading her daily devotionals, watching various sports where she was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns, spending time with her fur babies, Bailey, Daisy and Dee and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Community Church and the women’s auxiliary at the Fremont Eagles.
Thelma is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Todd) Rolf, Columbus, OH, Barbara (Michael) Durnwald, Stacy Miller, all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Kelly (David) McGraw, Kyle (Samantha) Rolf, Thomas Miller, Michael (Amanda) Miller; great grandchildren, Owen McGraw, Jack McGraw, Chase McGraw, Lincoln Rolf, Mia Rolf, Emerson Miller; son-in-law, David Miller: sister-in-law, Linda Wright; and many nieces, nephews and many others she “adopted” as family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers Nathanial, Andrew, Roy Waller; sisters, Wilma Hamby, Jean Chitwood, Alice Baker and brother-in-law, James W. Wright
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dawn Wright for all of her love and support.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 4 to 8 p at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420
Services will be on Saturday, December 14, 2024 beginning at 10:00 am at Grace Community Church 900 Smith Rd. Fremont, OH with an hour of visitation prior to service at the church. Thelma’s grandson, Pastor Michael Miller will be officiating.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorials can be made in Thelma’s honor to Grace Community Church.
