The world was graced with the presence of Theo Josue Villegas, a sweet baby boy, for a short while, from September 28th, 2025 to October 9th, 2025. Born in Bountiful, Utah, Theo lived his brief life in Kaysville, Utah. His eyes, wide with curiosity and wonder, were always observing the world around him, taking in every detail with an innocent fascination that was truly captivating. As author A.A. Milne once wrote, "Sometimes,' said Pooh, 'the smallest things take up the most room in your heart." This quote encapsulates Theo's impact perfectly. Despite his small size and short time on earth, he managed to carve out an enormous space in the hearts of those around him.
Theo was a beacon of love and joy, radiating warmth and happiness into the lives of his parents, Carlos and Makenzie Villegas. His presence, though fleeting, will be cherished and remembered for its impact. He was never employed or married, but Theo achieved what many strive for their entire lives, to be a source of unadulterated love and joy. In his short life, he taught those around him about the power of love, and the strength of family. As English poet John Keats wrote, "Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard are sweeter." Theo's life song may have been short, but it was undeniably sweet and will continue to echo in the hearts of his loved ones.
The viewing for Theo will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 6:00 pm MDT at Myers Mortuary - Layton, located at 250 North Fairfield Road,
Layton, Utah, 84041. The funeral service will follow at 7:15 pm MDT at the same location. We encourage all who were touched by Theo's light to attend and join in celebrating his short but impactful life.
We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Theo to his memorial page. Your stories and pictures will help keep his memory alive and remind us all of the joy he brought into our lives, no matter how brief his time with us was.
