Theodore Daniels Jr., 65, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
Theodore was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on June 11, 1959, to Theodore and Pearline (James) Daniels Sr. He grew up in Des Moines where he attended Tech High School. Following school, Theodore worked construction and as a bricklayer throughout the Des Moines community.
He was a member of Cornerstone Family Church in Des Moines. Theodore was an open-minded, kind loving soul that always had good advice. He loved spending time with his family, boxing, fishing, hunting, and riding his bike.
Those left to cherish his loving memory are his daughters Rashawnda and Raniesha Daniels of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren Miajon Allen, Mahajanae Prince, Travon Phillips, Amya Phillips, Tresean Phillips, Tiyonna Phillips, and Rashawnda Scott; great-granchildren McKhenli Green and Maci Kent; siblings Rose Daniels, Karen Daniels, and Linda Boyers; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Theodore is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Maressa Prince, and sister Cheryl Daniels.
