Theodore Feshbach Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Schlossberg Chapel - Canton on Mar. 30, 2026.
Theodore Philip Feshbach (whom we called Ted), was born in Boston; the middle child of Sylvia and Herman Feshbach. Ted had a great personality and was liked by everyone he met. He had numerous challenges in life that he lived with, with grace, acceptance, and a loving, outgoing spirit. He was the kindest of human beings.

Ted loved his family, the Red Sox, Celtics, his Ledges friends, Cape Cod, and the Beatles. He lived at the Ledges since was 13 years old and this truly was his home. The Arone family's residential home for adults with disabilities has been a G_d send. Herman and Sylvia chose this placement because they knew Ted would be loved and cared for there and thrive to the best of his abilities. Third generation Jonathan Arone, recently shared the history of the Ledges starting with his grandfather, Professor Vincent Sr. It began as a summer camp for professors' families for members with disabilities until it expanded out of need. When Vincent Sr. saw the need for many, he took on the enormous challenge of full-time, residential work. It truly is a family calling.

Ted was loved by his many friends, residents and staff at The Ledges. He also had several girlfriends over the years, including Barbara and most recently the late Maureen, whom he loved very much. Ted worked in his younger years at Burger King, Cumberland Farms, and also worked in the Ledges shop and made beautiful wooden birdhouses. He enjoyed many activities and outings that The Ledges provided, from Beatles' tribute concerts to bowling, and going to his favorite, Dunkin' Donuts.

He looked forward to trips to the Celtics, and the Red Sox here in Boston, as well as Spring training in Florida, but mostly enjoyed his beloved Cape Cod vacation house with family. He talked about it all year.

Ted was in his 80th year and his body simply could not sustain his failing health. He recently fought hard through several bouts with pneumonia, reoccurring heart issues, and finally serious feeding issues. He was not always able to communicate those difficult problems. His favorite Red Sox player was the great Carl Yastrzemski (Yaz), and actor Chuck Norris, (Texas Ranger), who passed away the week before Ted. If there's a Heaven, Theodore will be there with his favorite people. RIP, Our dear Ted.

There will be a graveside service at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedha St. Sharon, MA on Monday, March 30 at 9:45AM with burial to follow immediately.
