Theodore "Ted" Spencer Jordan Jr. of Grand Junction, Colorado, born September 20,1966, passed away September 1st, 2024 due to a stroke three days prior. He was surrounded by family and dear friends.
Ted was born and raised in Grand Junction. Ted was preceded in death by his tenacious mother, Kathy Jordan. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda, his adoring father, Teddy Sr., and his treasured children, Spencer and Erika, and many other cherished family members.
Our grief is love with nowhere to go. Ted was passionate in life and enjoyed making others laugh. His gregarious personality would fill a room, from his many stories of his shenanigans in his youth (and in adulthood) to his inappropriate (and hilarious) quick wit. He was a skilled upholsterer and mechanic, by trade, and made many friends through his ability to create and fix. He was proud and it was a well deserved pride, not just in his work, but in his relationships with others. Ted loved to talk, he loved to go on adventures over the mountains and enjoyed educating others on the many trails in the desert, specifically Carpenter. Ted was the man you could call and be guaranteed he would drop everything for someone in need, especially family and beloved friends, but also for those he knew needed a helping hand. He was a kind man with an enormous heart, even in death he continued to give by being an organ donor.
The family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a GoFundMe, created in Ted’s memory, to help cover repair costs for his wife's home and funeral expenses.
There will be a Celebration of Ted's life at Browns Cremation & Funeral Service 904 N 7th St. Grand Junction, CO on Monday September 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM
