Richard Dozier

Ted, and his identical twin, Jim, were close friends to me for the brief while they lived in Boone, Iowa, when we were all aged eleven to thirteen or so. I was the only one of their classmates who could tell them apart! They were both formidably intelligent and I always knew that they would graduate at the top of whatever classes they found themselves in. I missed them so much when they moved away to Minnesota. I never quite got over it. He's gone too soon! - Richard Dozier, San Francisco, California.

I was a year behind Ted at USAFA and worked closely with him his last two years. he helped me buy my Cadet car and was an inspiration to us all. May he rest in peace.

I am saddened to hear of Ted's passing. I knew him well at Travis AFB where we flew C-5s together. He was a great pilot and we had fun on our missions. We were also one of the first C-5 crews to fly into Saudi Arabia for Desert Storm and endured a continuous 36-hr mission picking up and delivering fuel trucks from a Middle East base to Saudi Arabia after dropping off Army troops and equipment. I also remember fondly the great Air Show we put together in 1991. He left this Earth way too soon.
