Theodore C Mercer Jr.

As I have thought about Ted, my memories go back to a time when Ted was still living in Dayton. He was very involved in Sacred Harp events, and he took a group to Ft. Payne, Alabama for one of those events. This is where his heart was, and I was so thankful to have had the experience and exposure to something that meant so much to him. We will always miss him.

What a wonderful man he was.

I have wonderful memories of Ted and his family and am sorry to hear of his passing. May his memory be eternal.

I was saddened to hear of Ted's passing, and I have reminisced about the years when I had contact with him at Bryan College many years ago now. David, Gwen, and John, you are in my prayers. May God comfort you as only He can. I send my love to you all.

I am saddened to learn of Ted's death. He was such an advocate for Sacred Harp and touched many lives. He will be greatly missed.
