Theodore Pivin Obituary
February 17, 1938 - February 3, 2025
Theodore "Ted" Pivin Jr., fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday February 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Devoted husband of Sharon Pivin (nee Taschler); loving fater of Dennis (Marcy) Pivin and the late Cheryl Pivin; cherished grandfather of Edward (Annelise) Pivin and Elizabeth (Travis) Brenneke; dear great grandfather of Benjamin Pivin, Kaydence Brenneke, and Vivian Brenneke; beloved son of the late Theodore and Margaret Pivin; admired friend to many.
Ted left behind an extraordinary legacy of service, faith and family. A proud U.S. Army veteran before dedicating 35 years to his work with SSM Health, where he was a senior associate of the American Society of Hospital Engineering. Ted was a proud member of the advisory board at SSM St. Joseph - Lake St. Louis and an active board member of the Construction Council of St. Louis. His devotion of his Catholic faith was evident through his years as a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish of Dardenne and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Mount Grace Convent of the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters (Pink Sisters).

I worked with Ted for many years at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.
I so enjoyed our many hallway conversations that ranged from banal to serious. He was a pillar of loyalty and strength along with a great sense of humor.
