Theresa Geraldine Agro of Wilmington, North Carolina, age 95, died peacefully April 3, 2025. The wife of Vincent M. Agro (deceased,) Theresa is survived by her children: Daniel; Debra; Marylyn; 6 grandchildren: Peter; Timothy; Grace; James; Lauren; Teresa; Justin; great-granddaughter, June and sons-in-law Benjamin and Alan. Her daughter Cynthia and grandson Clayton pre-deceased her.
Theresa was born in Brooklyn, New York, October 12, 1929. She made her home in Greenwich, Connecticut for many years until 1996 when she moved to Wilmington, North Carolina.
Theresa was beloved by so many. Her keen wit, warmth and genuine caring nature was endearing. People gravitated to her for those reasons. Her light will long shine in the hearts of family and friends who were blessed to have known her.
Over her many years of life, she gave her time and commitment generously to various charities. However, of all her pursuits, both professional and personal, the job she cherished the most was being a grandma. Her grandchildren were her heart and gave her so much joy in her later years. Their lives will be forever enriched for having known and loved her.
Theresa was a lifelong supporter of veterans' charities. We ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her memory to a charity that supports our national heroes.
Services are private for the immediate family. Theresa's loved ones thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers.
