Theresa Armao Obituary
ALBANY - Theresa Stellato Armao, a lifelong resident of West Albany, died on Sept. 23, 2025, exactly two months shy of 100 years old.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Vito Stellato; her husband, Guy James Armao; and her older brother, Joseph Stellato.
She is survived by her cherished younger brother, Anthony Stellato; by her five daughters, Rosemary, Jo-Ann (Larry McNiece), Kathyrn (William Pierce), Lisa, and Christine (David Price) Armao; by her eight grandchildren, Francisco (Emma), Guy (Jessica) and Marco (Nicole) Liuzzi, Jessica (Krem Orrillo) and Simon (Rebecca) McNiece, Zachary Grady, Ian and Kevin Price; and by her five great-grandchildren: Gemma Liuzzi, Madelynn, John and Marilynn McNiece and Kole Orrillo; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Theresa's family Thursday, October 2, 2025 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany, N.Y. 12206. Her Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Please enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot entrance only.
The Rite of Committal will be held at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery following the Service.

The family asks that instead of flowers, donations be made in their mother's name to any of her favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Capital City Rescue Mission, The American Heart Association, or Alzheimer's Foundation of America.

TO THERESA'S FAMILY, MY NAME IS JOHN HOMICZ,I KNEW YOUR MOM WHEN SHE WORKED AT A PLACE CALLED ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES ON LODGE STREET,WITH MY WIFE BARBARA, IN THE 70's ,AND IN THE LATE 70's AND EARLY 80's WE LIVED JUST UP THE ROAD ON BRICKLEY DR.
