John 11:33 says: "When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping and groaning, he groaned within himself and became troubled." Jesus expressed tears when his friend Lazarus died, he knows how it feels to lose a dead loved one and he understands what you and your family are experiencing. May this bring you and your family comfort in this time of need. cjp (fla.)

To the family: May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

Mrs. Theresa was one of the most pleasant people I have had the pleasure in knowing. I worked with Mrs. Theresa at the Treme Community Education Program in New Orleans and told her many times that when I got older I wanted to have the strong spirit for life she had each day she would come into the center. She never complained about anything and always made me feel good when I was in her presence. I feel I was blessed in crossing paths with her for the two years I worked at Treme. My condolences goes out to her family. May God bless.

I met Mrs. Theresa Augustin while working at Treme's Harmony House as the Activity Coordinator. She was a lovely lady and very spirited.I love to hear her laugh. My fondest memories of her, were during the Harmony House's annual Halloween celebration and Mrs. Augstin would dress as a witch wearing her big black hat and cape. She would even dance during the monthly birthday parties. She will be greatly missed.
