**Obituary for Theresa M. Rose Chorlton

(October 7, 1929 - June 2, 2026)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Theresa Marie Chorlton, who left this world peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 96. Born in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, on October 7, 1929, Theresa lived a beautiful life defined by her unwavering spirit, professional achievements, and her dedication to family and community.

Theresa's remarkable career began at the tender age of 16 when she started working at WBUD Radio Station after school. Her passion for broadcasting and her charitable spirit shone brightly. Through her work at WBUD, she played an instrumental role in securing the rights to air 101.5 and committed over 45 years of her life to serving the listening community and 9 years to the Miss Teenage America organizaton until the station was sold. Her journey continued as she briefly worked at Dow Jones before joining her husband, Joseph Chorlton, at Cybis Porcelain.

As Vice President and General Manager at Cybis, Theresa not only thrived in the porcelain manufacturing industry but also forged connections with countless presidents, dignitaries, celebrities, and even Pope John Paul II. Under her influence, Cybis proudly dressed the table at the White House with exquisite porcelain each year, enhancing the special moments of history with artistry.

Theresa is predeceased by her parents, Peter Rose and Ralphella (DiFeo) Rose, both of whom inspired her lifelong commitment to community and excellence; her beloved husband, Joseph Chorlton; her three siblings, Elizabeth, Frank, and John Rose. Theresa is survived by lifelong family friend Karen LaCour.

To honor her remarkable life and legacy, a visitation hour will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, 3500 South Broad St., Hamilton, NJ.

Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ.

Theresa Maria Chorlton leaves behind a legacy of grace, courage, and compassion. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and remembered for the indelible mark she left on the world. May she rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Theresa's memory to Serenity Hospice.
