Theresa A. "Honey" Coursen

Theresa A. "Honey" Coursen, age 53 of Sussex, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, at her home.
Born in Sussex to the late John Sr. and Marilyn (Babcock) Coursen, Theresa had been a lifelong Sussex resident. A program manager for RHA Health Services in Sparta, Theresa loved to help anybody who needed it. She also enjoyed demolition derbies, trips to Lake George, Florida, and the Shore, but above all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a proud "Honey" to her three beloved grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, and sisters Alice Vandergroef, Heidi Coursen, and Marie Coursen, Theresa is survived by her husband, Joseph Bayles; daughter Jessica Russell (Kevin); son Christopher Coursen (Breanna); stepdaughter Raelee Bayles; brother John Coursen, Jr.; sister Michelle Coursen; and stepbrother Josh Cooper. She is also survived by her three adoring grandchildren, Gianna, Brayden, and Natalie.
A visitation for Theresa will be held on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, 4-8PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ 07461. A funeral service for Theresa will be on Monday, October 27th, 11AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered through fergusonfuneralhomesnj.com
