Theresa E. Eline

Theresa E. (Livelsberger) Eline, age 85, of McSherrystown, passed surrounded by her family on March 4, 2025 at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late William F. Eline who passed away on February 24, 2013; together they shared 53 years of marriage.
Theresa was born in Hanover, PA on November 25, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Bernard and Margaret (Smith) Livelsberger. She attended Delone Catholic High School and worked as a cake decorator for Weis Markets and owned and operated her own bake shop at home where she made wedding cakes. Theresa also enjoyed soap making and oil painting and loved gardening in her younger years. She will be remembered for always making people smile and greeting everyone with a hug. Theresa was also a parishioner of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in McSherrystown.
Theresa is survived by her children Thomas Eline, Loretta Cook and husband Noel, Angela Becker, and Joseph Eline and wife Debra; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Mary Mann, Donald Livelsberger, Kenneth Liveslberger, and Patrick Livelsberger. Theresa was preceded in death by her son James Eline who passed away in 1980; and her brothers Raymond Livelsberger and Brian Livelsberger.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Theresa's Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10:00AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6084 Canal Rd., Abbottstown, PA 17301 with the Very Rev. Philip G. Burger, V.F. as celebrant. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest next to her husband in the parish cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, PA 17344.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Theresa's memory may be made to Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church, 26 N. Third St., McSherrystown, PA 17344.
