Theresa M. Gleason, 92, passed away peacefully December 22, 2025. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles and Rose (Naso) Monastero, she had resided in Akron the past several years. Theresa enjoyed watching all 3 Cleveland sports teams as well as The Golden Girls, Game Show Network and Family Feud with Steve Harvey. She also loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gleason. She will be sadly missed by her children, Jack Gleason, James Gleason, Chuck Gleason, Rosemary (Jim) Reed; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment will take place Thursday, January 8 at 1 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery in Brunswick (we will meet inside the cemetery entrance shortly before 1 p.m). Those who wish may make memorial donations in Theresa's name to the charity of their choice.
