Smith Family Funeral Homes - Little RockMinnie Theresa Squires Gresham, simply known as Theresa, was born January 15, 1934. She married her one true love, James Gresham, on February 12, 1953, They enjoyed 63 years together until his passing. Shortly after marriage, she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, a faith she held dear.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Roger and Gretchen Morris, along with several nieces, nephews, and greatnieces and nephews. In recent years, her family grew to include dear friends Angie Ford and Joyce & Cameon Johnson, who lovingly helped with her daily needs, along with the loving staff in the memory care unit at Evergreen.
A proud "tomboy," Theresa loved the outdoors, working in her yard, and playing fetch with her dog, Domino. She played softball in high school and still had a pretty good arm. Cooking didn't appeal to her, and she never consider herself a good one. She enjoyed a good burger, potato chips, vanilla ice cream, and a glass of iced tea was always nearby.
Theresa found joy in speaking informally about the Bible and her faith, taking every opportunity to share it-even with phone solicitors. She would ask, "Where are you located? What's the weather like? Have you ever talked to Jehovah's Witnesses?" No one got missed.
Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 19th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 10412 Mabelvale West, Mabelvale, AR 72103.
