Theresa (Laplume) Martineau, 79, of Manchester, beloved wife of Richard Martineau, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was born on December 2, 1945 in Lowell, MA to the late Maurice and Madeline (Gringass) Laplume.
Theresa graduated from Central High in 1963. She worked miscellaneous part-time jobs throughout her life but her most fulfilling job was that of a homemaker raising her family. She was a charter member of the Twins Club of Manchester. In her spare time she enjoyed bingo, puzzle making, dot to dot puzzles, and shopping.
In addition to her husband of 61 years, Theresa is survived by her two sons: David Martineau and his wife Julie, Bruce Martineau and his wife Debbie; her sister: Priscilla Major; six grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Theresa is predeceased by her parents: Maurice and Madeline Laplume; her brother: Maurice Laplume Jr.; and her son: Bryan Martineau.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm Street in Manchester from 10:30am to 11:30am. A service in the funeral home will begin at 11:30am. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd. in Manchester.
