Theresa Ouimette, 98, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Howard F. Ouimette, passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ware, MA, to the late Octave and Martha (Monet) LaRiviere, Theresa was raised in Springfield before settling in Enfield in 1962.
A devoted mother and cherished "Nana," Theresa waitressed for over 50 years, most fondly remembered by many at the Country Diner in Enfield. She was a longtime parishioner of Holy Family Church and found joy in bowling, ceramics, and tending her garden.
She leaves her daughters, Martha Morris, Christine Burkhoff, Virginia Reister, and Lisa Michele Ouimette; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one brother and five sisters.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 12, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
