Theresa Ann Riesz

Theresa Ann "Terry" Riesz, 78, of Lansdale, died Wednesday, December 3, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Theodore "Ted" Riesz, her husband of 56 years.

Born March 28, 1947, in La Porte, IN, she was a daughter of Hazel (Lundby) Graham, of Euless, TX, and the late Harry Graham.

Terry graduated first in her class from the Mercy Hospital Nursing School in Hamilton, OH. She and Ted moved to Lansdale in 1972 where she raised their children. In the early 1990s, Terry decided to go back to work as the Activities Director at Meadowood Retirement Community in Lansdale. She later worked with Atera and Altec where she continued to care for her patients before retiring in 2013.

Terry was an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, North Wales, where she was involved with countless committees and programs over the years. She had a passion for music and was in several vocal and handbell choirs. Her hobbies included playing piano, birding, fishing, geocaching, golfing, and volunteering. Upon moving to Meadowood in 2022, she became an active resident who was involved in numerous activities and committees.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Todd A. Riesz (Allison) of Schwenksville, Timothy E. Riesz (Erica Mielcarek) of Smyrna, GA, and Tracy J. (Riesz) Wismer (David) of Trenton, NJ; two beloved grandchildren, Emily and Dana; her mother Hazel Graham of Euless, TX, and her brother, Wayne L. Graham (Bonnie) also of Euless.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Joanne.

Funeral arrangements are pending and under the direction of the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
