Theresa R. Tousey

On December 17, 2022 just one day following her 60th birthday, Theresa R. Tousey was called home by our Heavenly Father.
Theresa was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and daughter. Together, with her husband Bill, Theresa was the mother to two beautiful girls, Holly and Jenny. Theresa was a mother that loved nothing more than spending time with her girls.
Theresa was born and raised in Fond du lac, WI and became quite an active member to the community. Theresa volunteered 16 years of her life, with her daughter Jenny, to the Fond du lac Salvation Army. There Theresa served our lord as a solider. She spent much time putting together bagged lunches, rang bells, gave coats out to the less fortunate, and gave out gifts from the Toys for Tots, The Angel Tree, and Adopt a Family. This time of year was always a special one to Theresa. She found great joy in setting up the Christmas tree each year and placing the ornaments to her perfection. Theresa made the best Christmas cookies and deviled eggs around.
Theresa worked for many years at Bestt Liebco and also Toms Millwork in Campbellsport. She was a graduate of Goodrich High School and a Culinary graduate from MPTC.
One of Theresa's true loves were the Green Bay Packers. She wasn't one to miss a game or talk while one was on. Theresa spent many years playing on pool and dart leagues in the Fond du lac area. She also enjoyed going on Women's Retreats and attending the Army Lake Camp. Theresa loved many things but touching and hugging weren't one of them. Although this was true, Theresa loved to go fishing and spend time in the boat with her long time love and husband, Bill. He believes this only to be true because she always caught the largest fish.
Theresa is survived by her husband Bill, their daughters, Holly and Jenny, brothers Jeff (Jodie) Schibline, Mark Schibline, sisters Susie (Dave) Johnson, Maryann (Jeremy) Presnell, and many cousins.
Theresa was proceeded in death by her parents, Ed and Betty Schibline, father and mother-in-law, Harry and Wilma Tousey, and many aunts and uncles.
The visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
