Nguyen Thi Thien, a devoted wife, beloved mother, doting grandmother, and faithful Catholic, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 85. Her life was a testament to unwavering faith, boundless love, and a deep commitment to her family and community. Born on October 29, 1939, in Quang Tri, Vietnam, Thien's life was rooted in kindness, humility, and service.
Devoted wife and mother.
As a devoted wife to Nho Ngo for 52 years, Thien offered love, support, and steadfast partnership, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and shared faith. As a mother, she guided her children with patience, understanding, and faith, teaching them the importance of devotion and generosity. Her grandchildren adored her, and she showered them with love, cooking traditional Vietnamese meals and offering comforting words.
A faithful Catholic
Thien's Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. A devout member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, she found comfort in prayer, Mass, and serving others. Her faith inspired all who knew her, and she lived her life in service to God and her community.
Legacy of Love
Nguyen Thi Thien is survived by her husband, Nho Ngo; children, Diem Ngo (Huy Hoang), Mary Lam (Davis Hai Lam), David Ngo (Lily Ngo); grandchildren, Phuong Cat O'Rourke (Patrick O'Rourke) and baby O'Rourke, Thien Quy Boylan (Ryan Boylan), Dominic Lam, Madeline Lam, Devon Ngo, and Marissa Lam. Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion continues through them, reminding us that love is patient, faith is unshakable, and a heart full of grace can change the world.
