Thomas Abrams Obituary
81, died November 22, 2025 in Bradenton, FL. Born in Hendricks, MN, raised in Wadsworth, OH, he settled with his family in the Greater Tampa Bay Area in 1970. For the past 23 years, he and his wife made their home in the Palmetto Historic District. Tom joined the U.S. Army in 1967 and, while serving in Vietnam, received a Bronze Star for Valor. A talented poet, novelist, and writing instructor, he was also a passionate gardener. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jane; his son, Keith of Milton, KY; his daughter, Daphne Ayres of Akron, OH; two sisters, Denise Bird of Oviedo and Elyse Ingle of Bradenton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He is missed dearly by his family and friends.
