Thomas Ackerman Obituary
THOMAS JON ACKERMAN
September 16, 1946 ˜ July 13, 2023
Tom passed to heaven after a battle with congestive heart failure and other complications. Tom was loved by his family; wife of 54 years, Suzanne Holmgren Ackerman (Suzy, as Tom renamed her after first dating); Tom had two wonderful children, Christoper Thomas and Jennifer Anne. Chris preceded Tom in death.
Tom also left behind a single brother, Kenny, along with his four grandchildren, Jack, Emily, Maggie and Ayden.
Celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 27, at Royal Oaks Country Club from 2 to 5 p.m.
If you would like, donations may be sent in Tom’s name to Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation, 7350 W Deschutes Ave., Richland, WA 99356.

I was so sorry to learn the loss of your husband, Tom this past July. I still think of the day we ran into you and Tom while golfing. Such a pleasant surprise to see you and an opportunity to meet Tom.
I think of you frequently. You were my first friend when we moved to Vancouver.

Suzy, Jenni and Jack - our deepest condolences. Great memories will carry forward of our time together at the beach sharing our grandkids back and forth and watching Tom and Jim watch the street so the kids could ride their bikes.
