Thomas McKinley "T.J." Addair Jr.

Thomas "T.J." McKinley Addair, Jr., 31 years of age, of Raysal, WV, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at his Uncle's house in Saltville, VA. Born May 12, 1994, in Princeton, WV, he was the son of Thomas McKinley, Sr. and Rhonda Gail Rutter Addair.
T.J. was of the Christian faith and served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed listening to music, playing his guitar, hunting and playing his play station. He was a loving father, son and brother.
He is preceded in death by aunts Sarah Slone and Violet Meadows; Uncles David Muncy, Bobby Addair; great uncles Jeffery Addair, Dale Addair; and maternal grandparents Marion and Margie Rutter.
Survivors include his parents Thomas and Rhonda Addair of Raysal, WV; daughter Alonna Grace Addair of Raysal, WV; son Axel Blaine Addair of Raysal, WV; Cayla Bowles, special friend and mother to his future son (Kohen Alexander Addair); sister Kayla Dawn Addair and companion Caleb Alexander Owens of Lebanon, VA; paternal grandparents Tommy Addair and Teresa Diana Addair of Saltville, VA.
He is also survived by uncles Joseph Addair and wife Becky, Marion Rutter, Jr., Douglas Rutter, Timothy Rutter and wife Mary, Norman Slone; aunts Becky Muncy, Trina Addair; great uncle Johnny Addair, and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Thomas "T.J." McKinley Addair, Jr. will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 12:00 noon, at Jesus Church of Bartley, Bartley, WV with Reverend John Richard Rowe officiating. Burial will follow at Thomas and Rhonda Addair Cemetery, Raysal, WV.
Full military rites will be conducted at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Jesus Church of Bartley on Thursday evening after 6:00 p.m. until the service hour of 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home.
