Thomas LeBaron Alexander, a beacon of love and laughter, departed this world on October 2, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving behind a legacy that intertwines cherished memories with the warmth of family connection. Born on December 30, 1949, in Mobile, Alabama, Thomas grew into a spirited man whose life was characterized by devotion to his loved ones and dedication to his work.

For thirty-two remarkable years, Thomas served at General Motors, where he not only built cars but also forged countless friendships, all while providing for his family. His diligence and commitment during his tenure is a testament to his strong work ethic and love for those he held dear. He also honored his country by serving ten years in the U.S. Air Force, an experience that shaped his character and demonstrated his unwavering sense of duty.

Those fortunate enough to know Thomas will most fondly remember his fun-loving personality and generous spirit. He had an infectious laugh that could light up any room, and he never missed an opportunity to share a story or have a good time. His love for his  children and grandchildren was unparalleled; they were the treasures of his heart, and he relished every moment spent with them. Each hug, every fishing trip, and the aroma of BBQ filled gatherings were his ways of showing the depth of his affection.

In addition to his devotion to family, Thomas enjoyed nurturing his passions. His hands were skilled in the art of carpentry, creating tangible expressions of his love through handmade projects that will forever hold a place in the hearts and homes of those he touched. Whether gardening, canning, or simply savoring the calm of fishing, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Thomas's celebration of life will take place at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring his memory during the viewing on October 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, followed by a wake service at 6:00 PM. The funeral service will bring loved ones together on October 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM, concluding with a heartfelt burial at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

As we reflect on the life of Thomas LeBaron Alexander, may we carry forward his legacy of love, joy, and the importance of family. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.
