Thomas Alexander, 93, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born Sept. 10, 1932, in Lansford, a son of George Alexander and Bessie Alexander.
He was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. He enjoyed watching Sunday football, watching golf, attending church, spending time with family and friends, and being a father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Bernadine Alexander; sister, Constance McGuire; father, George Alexander; and mother, Bessie Alexander.
He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Alexander; grandson, Nicholas Alexander; granddaughter, Christina Alexander; and great-grandson, Nicholas Alexander Jr.
Friends and family may attend a visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral Home, 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with the Rev. Pedro Sarsama officiating.
Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church in memory of Tom. May his memory be eternal.
