Learning recently that Tom is gone, and has been gone since 2015 was devastating. It is comforting, though, to read the memorials of so many of his friends, relatives, and co-workers. I knew the whole Arneson family when Tom was still in high school; I can testify to the fact that sixteen year old Tommy was exactly the same good, kind, compassionate, helpful, supportive person described by all those who knew him later. He shared that infectious laugh with his brother Bill. I heard him say "Methinks" to preface his opinion many times. I, too, will never forget him, or his family. I'm so glad that so many other people in his life appreciated him while he lived and miss him now. My condolences to his children, grandchildren, relatives, and all his friends.

Tom was one of the best guys to work with in ACPSI / UPC / SPC.
He always had a positive outlook on life and everything going on around him. Not much got him worked up and he was always calm & relaxed.
He was always there to help anyone in need and went out of his way on many an occasion to help others.
I remember Nancy and the kids in Bradenton a lot, because we lived close by and would visit often. What a wonderful family. Everyone a joy to be with.
God Bless

Tom was a great guy and a great help. Many years ago within a year of him joining ASPSI/UPC he was sent to Indian River during its 1st outage outage to get a feel of what it was like at a job site. He was always ready to help and do anything. So we assigned him the task of checking generator stator bar compression and then to install the generator rotor. He was scared to death, but with assurance we would give him all the help he needed, he dove right in, it did take some kibitzing, but he did a great job. Following that, I have never seen a person more happy. Tom will always be missed because he was a great worker, a great friend and always happy to help making everyone around him better. I will always remember Tom.

We actually pass away twice. Once, when our body stops supporting our physical life. The second, is when the last person to know of the person is forgotten. For me, I will never forget Tom. He was integral to my work life, as well as my personal life. His business expertise was a tremendous factor in growing the Siemens Power Generation Business Unit, as well as his valuable contributions to our own business group. His personal kindness to me and my family is ingrained in my mind, And will be as long as Im alive!
The challenge is to keep the generations to follow, knowledgeable of Tom and his life contributions to his lifes work, his family and even to the thousands of people he interacted with from his personal and business life.
One of his sayings I heard him say many times was, Me Thinks. That was his way to preference his opinion or recommendation. The levity of it seemed to open the person up to accept what he was addressing. It sure worked on me! I always valued his opinion.
A good, kind and knowledgeable man!!!

I first met Tom during the transition of some of the work to Orlando. Tom was always willing to support and share his knowledge. We would often see each other in the hallways and stop to catch up. He will be missed!

Tom will always be remembered for his dry humor, and willingness to help anyone who was in need. I miss sharing our thoughts over the cubicle wall.
