Mr. Badke was a very kind man, it's still unbelievable that we lost him to such a horrible tragedy. He will be missed dearly, my heart goes out to his family

Ann Marie, Laurie, and Families, It was very apparent by the hundreds of people that turned out to support you that Tom touched the hearts of many. The service today was beautiful and a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man. I can't imagine the sorrow you are feeling but always remember he is in your hearts forever. God has a way of easing the pain with every passing day. Stay strong in your faith and know that you are ALL LOVED very much.

I am so incredibly sorry - the news came to me and I was left without much words to say. Mr. Tom was one of the most genuinely kind and whole-hearted people I have ever met in my life. After many years spent with your family, I know for certain that he was the embodiment of what a great person looks like. Down to earth, humble, and had an incredible sense of humor that will undoubtably be missed - and surely will never be forgotten.

I am out of the country, and unfortunately wasn't able to return for the service. Please know that Mr. Badke and all of you are in the thoughts and prayers of many who saw the same goodness in him as I saw.

To this day I can still remember delivering papers to the house on Boulder and seeing Tom Berg, Tom and Pat. I remember all of us talking about the start of the business. Great great memories of Tom! Tom will be deeply missed. My deepest sympathy to his entire family.

To the Badke family - there are no words to express my condolences. I met Tom in 1996. We had a lot of successful projects together while working for AJEtkin and Skanska. I always enjoyed teasing him about the Dairy Queen and whenever I couldn't find him, I assumed that he wasn't taking my phone call because he was busy eating an ice cream cone. We also made time to get coney dogs together when we could. Tom was THAT guy.... that no matter when or what time of the day, he was ALWAYS there for you and always with a smile on his face. He helped me out personally by setting steel and pouring concrete for my mailbox and on more than one occasion he let me store my snowmobile trailer on the back lot. I will miss my friend Tom. To the Badke Family - we are so sorry to hear the tragic news and send our condolences. Tom was one of the most respected parents I have ever dealt with at DLS. He was always so polite and understanding and wanted what was best for his children. John I want you to know your dad had a lot of love for you and don't ever doubt that he will always be there for you looking down with pride. Dear Ann Marie, There are no words to express how heart broken we are of Tommy's senseless passing. We loved him like a brother and will miss him dearly. He was loved by, many but he love you and the kids more. He will be missed by all!!

Dear AnnMarie, my angel on earth friend, John, Gabrielle and families, Jesus said, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). Trials put our faith to the test. It is at these times when we must go back to the basics, in what we believe with full dependence upon God. His presence is with you all no matter what the circumstances, as they were with Tom. We are deeply saddened that Tom has gone to his heavenly home too early and can only imagine your pain and suffering. We are so sorry and there hardly seem any words that will help express our condolences. Please know that we loved Tom as are own family and will cherish his memory forever. To the Badke family, I have no words to express my condolences. I worked with Tom for about 5 years and he was one of the nicest men that I had ever met. He was a stand up guy and would do anything to help you out. Tom was such an easy man to talk to and he wore his heart on his sleeve. There was no denying the fact that his family came first and that he was so proud of his kids. Tom will be missed be all.

There are no words to express how sad I am about Tom's passing. I met Tom 11 years ago when I was building the baseball field for special needs children. Tom installed the fencing and made a significant donation! He touched our hearts and we are extremely grateful for his kindness! Our Challenger Baseball family will be forever grateful and we will never forget him! We will be installing a brick paver in his memory at the field. I

The Lord has taken Tom home to his place in Heaven. I've known Tom since 1982. I don't know that I will ever meet another man like Tom. The best friend, the most awesome husband & father. It was always a pleasure to speak with Tom. He was one of the finest people I ever had the fortune to meet. He was always cracking a joke, always speaking of his love for the Lord, and always concerned about others more than he was about himself.
