Thomas Christopher Basom

Chris and I met as colleagues and became friends. I always looked forward to my calls with Chris and yes even to talk about taxes and our mutual clients. Our conversations always moved on to other subjects, whether it was politics or personal conversations. I spoke with Chris a few weeks before he passed. We talked about shopping, and he told me Target was his favorite place to shop and he used to tell his kids when they were young, "If it isn't at Target then it doesn't exist".
I loved Chris's upbeat attitude and that he always had a smile on his face. On our last conversation we also talked about how much better life is simply by looking at the positive and turning any negative into a positive. I will forever be grateful to have known Chris and to have learned from him.

I'll miss Chris terribly. Every time I flew to Anaheim, I tried to contact him to meet up. We met in High School, and had a great time together. There is a huge hole in my Saxon heart right now.
