Thomas Bertram Finn, 78, of Chatham, formerly of Loami, went to the arms of God, on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 16, 1943 in Springfield, the son of James Bertram and Susan Jane (Tomko) Finn. Tom married Nancy Jane Owen on March 19, 1966 in Springfield. They celebrated 55 years of adventure together.
Tom graduated from Feitshans High School. He was employed in advertising for Hughes Airwest and later with Capital Group, retiring in 2009. Tom was a member of the Left-handers Gun Club. He enjoyed fishing, camping with his motorhome, traveling, watching his "critters" and feeding the birds.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Finn.
Tom is survived by his wife, Nancy J. Finn of Chatham; sons, Bryan (Kim) Finn of Columbia, TN and Jason (Kara) Finn of Springfield; grandchildren, Brandon, Sean, Jaxon, Marlee and Bailee Finn; sister, Barbara Jay of Springfield; one niece; three nephews; and cats, Little Bit and Apache.
Cremation was provided by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.
A celebration of life and cookout will be planned in his honor for 2022.
