Tom was a wonderful mentor and friend, who made a great impact on my career during my 26 years at Colorcon.
I always remember that his golf clubs were a constant companion during his many travels.
I recall one occasion when I was able to make Tom smile. We had attended a business meeting, and as we left, he said " Stu, I noticed that you did not take any notes." I responded that I remembered everything that was discussed. Tom asked me to prove it by recalling all the important aspects of our meeting. When I did, he simply smiled. Unfortunately, my memory is not that good any more.
Tom, my friend, you will be sorely missed.

My condolences to the family. I have fond memories of Tom. He was always smiling, kind and gracious with a wonderful sense of humor and good fun.

Tom was my best friend. We lived three houses apart in Francesville, Indiana, and we did everything together. Many was the time we would go to Ideal Beach to hear the great bands. Every year we heard The Four Freshman, Stan Kenton, and we got to hear Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong and the Kingston Trio. Tom would come out to Colorado with his son, Darren and we would go skiing with my son Colin at Vail. Tom was like a brother to me. I miss him a lot. God rest you my dear friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I never was able to meet Tom in person, but I work for Purdue University and I came across his name about a year ago. The first time I spoke to him on the phone, he shared with me how he was undergoing treatment, and I was honored that he felt comfortable to share with me, a person he had never met before, the struggles he was going through. He had humility and grace. He displayed courage and hope. I regret not having had the chance to meet him in person, and my sincere condolences are with his entire family. May he rest in peace. Love, Carrie Bright
