Thomas Randy Bone

Our amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle passed away July 25, 2024. Randy was born in Ogden, Utah to parents James Lewis and Delores Denver Bone. He grew up in Ogden, Utah, and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1968.

He served 20 years in the Air Force Reserves in the 409th as a Tech Sergeant.

Randy married his high school sweetheart, Janet Rohmer, on June 29, 1968, in Ogden, Utah.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked at Thiokol and Utah State University in Facilities.

Randy enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved riding motorcycles and ATVs, golfing, and watching the Chicago Bears.

Randy is survived by his wife, Janet; his children, Lisa Greenwell, Jason Bone, and Jill Holden; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Shelby, Sadie, Shaylee, Morgan, and Tallon; six great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and his brothers, Kenny and Fred. He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws; his brothers, Bill and Doug Bone; and son-in-law, Lance Holden. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
