Thomas James Boyle

I met Tom playing pickup basketball in iola either at the high school or middle school. He was always happy and so fun to play with. I enjoyed our talks in between games and during games. He was a good player but he was always a joy to play with sharing a laugh and never letting competition override his good nature. He was one of the first people to extend a hand and a welcome when I first moved to iola. When I think back at my time in Iola, Tommy is always one of first to come into my mind.
