Thomas Brandenburg Obituary

Thomas was born on March 9, 1941 and passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017. Thomas was a resident of Middletown, Maryland at the time of passing. He was a graduate of Middletown High school Class of "59 then worked with his father on the family farm for a number of years. Tom served in the Army Reserves. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Tuesday August 15 from the church. Interment will be made in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ Reformed Church, POB 333, Middletown, MD 21769.

On January 4, 1967, Tom, Jim D. and I took a bus ride from Frederick to DC. We then took a wild cab ride to National Airport; a plane ride to Louisville; and another bus ride ending at Fort Knox. We spent 8+ weeks in Basic Training.

I remember Tom as a very quiet and nice guy. Lost track of him after my 558th Signal days.
