Thomas Herbert Brault

Thomas Herbert Brault, age 94, of Hartford Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Waterford at Hartford retirement home.
Tom was born on March 22, 1931, in Hartford to his parents Florence (nee Young) and Harold Brault. With his family, Tom raised dairy cows and crops and was awarded outstanding young farmer by the Jaycees.
He served eight years in the Army National Guard, and in the 1960s went to work as a scheduler for the International Stamping Company (later Midas International) in Hartford, while still managing the family farm. He married Beverly Myslik of Pelican Lake WI in 1969. Together they cared for many beloved cats and enjoyed gardening, bowling, golf, and playing sheepshead. He stayed with Midas for 30 years, and in retirement was a longtime volunteer for the Hartford Senior Center. Tom was soft-spoken, kind, and generous and will surely be missed as a lifelong Hartford resident.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan (Brault) Smith, and his wife of 54 years, Beverly. Survivors include six nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Washington County Humane Society are greatly appreciated.
Funeral services for Tom will be held at Shimon Funeral Home on Thursday, July 17, 2025, Family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the start of service at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Josh Hanson officiating.
